How the demo and free trial work

1. Request a demo

Press Request a demo and fill in the short form: your name, email, state, company and fleet size, plus a phone number and a message if you like.

2. Approval

A person on the KRYSTAL team reads every request and approves it by hand. Nothing is approved automatically.

3. Your invitation

When your request is approved, an invitation email arrives at the address you gave, from KRYSTAL at mail.betterpayingfreight.com. It carries your Beta ID and a secure invitation link to app.betterpayingfreight.com. There's no temporary password to copy. If it hasn't arrived, check your spam folder.

4. Your first sign-in

1. Open the invitation link and press Sign In.
2. Create your permanent password.
3. Read the short welcome and introduction.
4. Set up your company and trucks, and answer a few questions about how you run and judge loads today. Three checkboxes at the end are optional: recording actual results, letting KRYSTAL use de-identified answers and results to improve its models, and being contacted about your feedback.
5. Go through the operating profile introduction, then fill in your costs. What to have ready.

KRYSTAL supports your decision; it doesn't make it. You remain responsible for checking the rate, the load details, your equipment, hours of service, safety and the final booking.

5. Your free analyses

• No card is needed. The trial doesn't ask for payment details.
• You get 15 free load analyses. They belong to your company, so adding trucks or team logins doesn't add more, and everyone on the account draws from the same 15.
• What uses one: a new load analyzed and saved. Analyzing a load again with changed details is a new analysis and uses another.
• What doesn't: parsing an offer, an analysis stopped by a missing field or a city it can't recognize, opening or downloading a saved report, recording an outcome, and anything else in the app.
• The Analyze page shows how many you've used and how many are left.

6. When they run out

After your 15th analysis, answer a few honest questions on the Feedback & Support page: what was useful, what was unclear, what was missing, what got in your way, and whether you'd keep using KRYSTAL. Negative answers count the same as positive ones. That unlocks 5 more analyses, once per company.

When those are used, new analyses need a subscription. Everything you've saved stays in your account: your profile, trucks, analyses and recorded outcomes.

7. Subscribing

The company's owner subscribes on the Billing page. The price is one flat monthly amount set by your number of active trucks, $70 a month for 1-3 trucks; see every tier. Payment goes through Stripe's secure checkout. A subscription gives everyone on the account unlimited analyses. Billing questions such as cancelling, fleet changes and failed payments are answered on the questions page.
